Hello,
can anyone please help me fix this boot loop issue? I got a device which let's me flash my BIOS chip after a failed BIOS update via Windows. Basically, I tried to update BIOS in Windows with the official tool and when I restarted it never posted and the fans never stopped spinning. Now, a few days later, I got a device to flash the BIOS with the JSPI1/SPI pins and after a lot of troubleshooting, it seems to reliably flash the BIOS chip. The problem is that I still can't post. Now I boot loop, which I guess is progress, but still obviously not working. I've tried every version of the BIOS on the Asrock page. Does anyone know where I could find the BIOS P1.10, which is what the sticker on my BIOS said? I hope that version would work. I don't really know what else to do except an RMA at this point. I'd like to try doing some more stuff before then because that would take so long. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on getting that BIOS version? Thanks so much! |

here you can get the BIOS versions
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20X470%20Gaming%20K4/#BIOS also check you have new amd all in one drivers (Update AMD AGESA to 1.0.0.6. * Please install "AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver:18.10.20_NHDA" or a later version before updating to this BIOS. * If you updated the BIOS before updating the AMD all in one driver, please refer to the Display recovery SOP to recover your system.) |

That link is for Fatal1ty, I have the x470 Master SLI/AC. Is that BIOS compatible with my device? Also, why do I need AMD all in one when I have an Nvidia discrete graphics card and no APU?

AMD all in one are the drivers for the x470 chipset, nothing to do with your GPU.
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X470%20Master%20SLI/#BIOS this link sould be for the master sli |

Okay, that makes sense, thank you. My issue is that I cannot enter any OS or POST whatsoever so I can't install it. I've tried using my flashcat to flash older BIOS files that don't mention anything about the AMD thing but it still doesn't work. Is there a BIOS file that was extracted from an actual BIOS chip that I could try?
Thanks |

Unfortunately, I've already tried resetting the CMOS by removing the CMOS battery and using the jumper and it still doesn't work. Do you have any other suggestions?
