I have a Z370 Pro Gaming i7 with 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200. In the compatibility list, I see that 2 modules were tested and approved. Can I confidently add another pair of the same RAM?
Performance-wise, am I simply better off looking for a new set of 2x16GB to replace the 2x8GB vs going with 4x8? This is for flight simulation, and other games, but the reason I'm after 32GB is for DCS in particular. So I don't want to lose performance in other games, but do want to gain performance in DCS. I mostly play in VR these days. CPU is 8700K at 4.8GHz and GTX 1080Ti. |

You have a 50/50 chance it will or will not work. If there are changes in the second set, such as a different chip mfgr or timing speeds it is a no go. Check with Corsair on their forum, they may be able to give definite info.

Okay, thanks. I think I will just play it safe and buy a new 2x16 kit.
