Hi to all,
Recently i updated my asrock gaming x x370 bios from 5.20 to 5.50 and i experience stability issues with my system. BSOD on windows 10 and some games crach when the amd graphic card starts initialising. The problem is focused on the amd drivers since when i unistall them the games load.

Long time short i want to downgrade my BIOS from 5.50 to 5.20 again but the instant flash utility does not allow me.

Another user mentioned ASROCK send him a 5.20 file that allowed him to downgrade the bios,after many emails to the techical support team.

So are there any other ways to downgrade the bios or any other help with that?

There is a way for a downgrade of the bios with the Asrock windows flash tool.
Watch this video (it is for another AM4 board, but just for understanding the procedure it doesn't matter):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybj3XkteX9k&feature=youtu.be

Without guarantee:
The flash tool can update/downgrade several boards and must be configured
- with changes in the ini file for your board and current bios version
- and with the bios image you want to downgrade

Folder structure:

\AfuWin
\ROM
\ROM\ASRock.ROM <- must be replaced with the destination bios image
ASROM.exe
ASROM.ini

Ini File:

[ROM]
Path=ROM
File=ASRock.ROM

[B450 Gaming K4]
BiosVersion=P3.50

The tool, here prepared for X470_Gaming K4:

Do you dare to proceed this way?

If not, contact Asrock support or the user J Z or here https://www.jzelectronic.de/jz2/index.php
