Slow response from ASRock for warranty claims?

About how long does it take for ASRock to respond to warranty claims?  I purchased a motherboard from an online retailer that functioned the entirety of one month.  The seller said I need to contact ASRock directly and I sent in a request to ASRock almost a week ago.   I don't necessarily expect an instant solution, but I would think some form of response to be reasonable given the time frame.
