I can't get my PC to recognize my 4TB external Seagate HDD (Model: SRDONF1). I've tried several different PCs at work and my family and the HDD was recognized without issues on them. Even my FritzBox recognizes the external HDD when connected via USB.
I've tried all the tips and solutions you can find on search engines first few pages (well, they repeat). To no avail. I can't get this external HDD to work. This includes that it doesn't even register in Computer Management > Disk Management. Not recognized in UEFI either. All the solutions of partitioning, assigning a hard drive letter, etc. don't help, because it fails at this crucial step already. I've also obviously tried all USB Ports. Every single one. Is there a known issue and maybe a solution for my problem? I got a ASRock Z370 Pro4, running Windows 10 (altho that's irrelevant). |
