eps12v is that connector name

8pin is usualy enough with stock settings, that extra 4pin is for overclocking, pc should work without it, but u may not exceed power limits of 8pin eps

not sure if i understand the question

i have this board

i only connected the 4 pin cpu power cable to the 8 pin port. the other 4 pins (of the port) are not used. this works

whats esp?

This motherboard has esp and another 4pin. My psu only has two cables containing two 4pin connectors each.
