I thought I was already on BIOS 7.2, as that is what the bootscreen reports.
However the date shown on boot screen and DMI is 2016.
H170M Pro4, BIOS P7.20 11/30/2016

I went to
http://https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H170M%20Pro4/#BIOS
and see latest BIOS  (also 7.2) but dated 03/12/2018.

I don't recall flashing the BIOS as recently as March this year.  But I may be wrong.

So I downloaded and flashed the latest 7.2 (posssibly for a second time Confused).

Following upgrade, the DMI remain unchanged.

Is this just because some string in bios has not been updated and how to I verify the version of the currently installed BIOS?

BTW after initial teething probs with fans on this board I have been extremely pleased with it and will be looking to Asrock for my next board.
