I have a custom fan curve set in the BIOS (v1.50), but it doesn't seem to ramp up fan speed as the CPU temperature increases:



As you can see, the CPU fan speed doesn't change.

What am I missing? I only installed A-tuning to get the screenshot, and would prefer to have this work without having to use it.

[edit] lol, there are too many sticky threads on this forum - I just noticed another thread on Page 2 that CPU temperature detection is broken, and to use tCtrl instead.

However, that isn't available in the BIOS, and I don't want to use A-tuning as it requires my account have administrator privileges (a big security risk).

[edit 2] nvm, I was only looking at the Fan Tuning section. It's possible to select Tctrl as the temperature source in the section where you type in temperatures and percentages.
