DXE_CON_OUT_CONNECT that is what is in the debug manual.

ANY help would be appreciated, not a bad slot, its a bad VBIOS flash. I was not aware there were 3 positions on the DGPU, 1 towards ports #3 is software, position 2 (middle) secondary or quiet bios, then position 3 towards PCIE connectors #1 OC BIOS.

I cannot get board to boot from IGPU while DGPU is fully connected. I feel it is BIOS setting. OR the code 97 with the short help string. What does DXE_CON_OUT_CONNECT actually mean?

    Author: DaaQ
Subject: 101298
Posted: 16 Mar 2025 at 6:07am

Hello all, I am having an issue with DGPU installed hanging on code 97, all BIOS defaults have been reset, I changed primary graphics to IGPU, but as long as DGPU is installed it will hang on 97, monitor will show HDMI1 which is IGPU connection, and DGPU is DP1 but I cannot get through post unless I pull at least one power connector on DGPU. But then IGPU shows as gpu0 and I need DGPU to be set to 0.

IDK if it is any security settings, or if the GFX option with no help string should be off or on. But I have went though as much as I could to try to force boot from IGPU with the DGPU installed and connected completely.

CSM is a question because it says to turn off for DGPU, and the Promintory boot options 1st is set to uefi only.

Kind of at a loss of how to force it to boot with both gpus installed and connected. This is related to vbios flashing, but I think I have a BIOS setting incorrect to be able to recover.
Any help would be appreciated. It is a strange behavior, I am on MOBO BIOS 3.20

Thanks, DaaQ.
