I have check the QVL list, flashed the latest BIOS, installed it in the proper slots (A2 and B2 for dual channel according to the manual), searched for XMP profile in the BIOS, and nothing so far seems to work. The only thing I haven't tried is removing the CMOS battery or checking the CPU socket because I don't want to risk any damage or have to reapply thermal paste, re-seat cpu, and stuff unnecessarily. It won't even recognize RAM inserted in slots B1 or B2 slots at all. It only ever works in slots A1 AND A2 side-by-side and only posts as SINGLE CHANNEL. Is there an option in the BIOS? Can I run dual-channel from A1 and A2? I don't even get to the BIOS menu when I seat the RAM in either B slot...

Photo https://photos.app.goo.gl/3vpu7wrFFcidNK8B6

Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Is my motherboard defective? Please help. Thank you.
