If the GPU is hitting power limits and throttling, absolutely.

You can check for this using MSI afterburner, take a look at what your GPU clocks are boosting to while gaming and compare that number to the rated clocks of your GPU. If they are staying low, then you know the issue is coming from throttling.

Failing that, you will probably want to get a new, single rail PSU with at least 50A on the +12v rail. Ok, now we know you are on a fresh install, lets dig a little deeper

That PSU is a dual rail unit (basically 2 375w PSUs in one), this means you need to balance your load between the 2 rails. You were using the same PSU on the old system so you must have had it balanced in there. If you look at the spec sticker on your PSU you will see it has 12v1 and 12v2, you need one 8pin power to your GPU from each rail so it is getting the power it needs.



If you have multiple 8pin PCIe connectors on your PSU, swap one of them on the GPU, only one, leave the other as is.
