    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=74">parsec</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1038<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 Oct 2015 at 3:29am<br /><br />NVMe support was added in UEFI 1.80 for your board.<br><br>NVMe PCIe SSDs like the Samsung 950 (is that the SSD you are talking about?) are so new, we don't have any experience with it yet with your board.<br><br>Some boards needed a further UEFI update in order to allow NVMe SSDs to be bootable. The Windows installation must be done in a specific way too.<br><br>My AHCI SM951 was bootable on my ASRock X99 Extreme6/3.1.<br><br>If a further UEFI update is necessary, ASRock has provided those updates and will do so with your board.<br>]]>
