Not that uncommon, esp. if you have an earlier mobo revision where the socket is known to be crappy.

My opinion is go for RMA. I am having tough time with my workstation build since screws #2 and #3 of TR4 socket is not tightening (free moving) after installation of the 1920X. I triple checked and the CPU was inserted correctly as explained by ASRock people.
