Just where is the UEFI shell file supposed to be and under what name?</td></tr></table> <br />You need to put the Shell.efi or Shellx64.efi file into the \EFI\BOOT\ folder on the FAT32 formatted USB, and rename it to BOOTX64.EFI ??that's the default name UEFI looks for when booting.]]>

Something really stupid. On that Github EDK2 folder tree, I ended up downloading an HTML file, which did the actual download, not the file. <br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anyway, I've got the correct shell binary and it works like a charm. ]]>
