    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=11737">brkkab123</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10561<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 Dec 2018 at 12:02pm<br /><br />As far as the EKWB EK XLC Predator 240 1.1, it shouldn't interfere with anything.<br />It's in use now on my current i5 6600K pc and I have the AM4 bracket kit for it waiting the mobo. switch.<br />As the X470 Taichi Ultimate has much more room up top compared to my Asus Maximus VIII Hero does plastic plate wisw, I think my push/pull upgrade fans will work eaily in my full tower case.<br />As far as the ram, I guess I'll find out. ]]>

With XF2, PBO and a decent cooling it should boost above 4.2GHz almost all of the time. If uou need exactly 4.2GHz 24/7 (for whatever the reason) it's a matter of another thread, although there are tons of guides on the web.<br /><br />Just falsh the latest BIOS, clear CMOS before and after, and you can get some luck running your RAM @ XMP. 4 sticks are a bit hard for even a Ryzen 2. Sawp them with 2 sticks for the same capacity if you can.<br /><br />Gaming-wise this CPU should not even bottleneck a 2080.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=11737">brkkab123</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10561<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 Dec 2018 at 10:50pm<br /><br />I need help on overclocking settings for a X470 Taichi Ultimate mobo, AMD Ryzen 2700X cpu, G.Skill SniperX DDR4 3600 ram (2 16GB kits) and a Samsung 850 EVO 1TB m.2 ssd.<br />New to overclocking AMD cpu's, but not new to Intel cpu overclocking.<br />Need suggestions for settings to use in the UEFI to get a all core 4.2GHz. cpu overclock and either a DDR4 3600 or DDR4 3400/DDR4 3466 ram overclock?<br />I'll be ordering my ram next Thursday and will probably receive it next Saturday or a week from Monday.<br />I won't be using the stock AMD heat-sink.<br />I'll be using a EKWB EK XLC Predator 240 1.1 in push/pull exhaust.<br />I also need to know if the m.2 ssd heat-sink in m.2 slot m.2 1 will fit into m.2 2 slot, as that's where I'm putting my Samsung EVO m.2 1TB ssd at.<br />Other pc hardware:<br />EVGA SUPERnova G.2 1000 psu<br />2nd ssd for older games Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SATA 3 ssd<br />Sapphire NITRO+ RX 480 OC video card. Soon to be upgraded to a NVIDIA RTX 2070<br />NZXT Phantom 820 case with 2 200mm. and 5 140mm. fans.<br />Lite-On DVD-RW<br />Lite-On BR-RE<br />Multi-port memory card Reader<br />Windows 10 Pro<br />Thanks for any help that anyone gives me.<br />I can't wait to try Ryzen out.<br />My current pc wouldn't have been a Skylake build, had Ryzen come out in August of 2015. ]]>
