FWIW, I saw the same problem on ASRock AB350M and reported it to ASRock support, they replied and told me to use Windows.

With fTPM enabled in the UEFI my kernel boots fine but doesn't load a /dev/tpm device node as expected. Searching the kernel logs I find the following...

$ dmesg | grep -i tpm

[    1.090180] ima: No TPM chip found, activating TPM-bypass! (rc=-19)

Searching based on this output leads to lots of bugs with older kernels all of which were addressed via a UEFI/BIOS update rather than a kernel patch.
