I had trouble searching for this here, so here goes. All new PC build:
X370 Killer SLI/AC/A/ASRK
Ryzen 5 2600 w/OEM heat sink
G.Skill F4-2400C15D-16GFXR
Samsung 970EVO 500GB
EVGA 500W 80+ PSU
Only else is Pioneer DVD burner (no GPU installed).

On power-up, fans run, LEDs light, but no BIOS post and get two sets of 5 beeps from chassis speaker.

If I plug in additional hard drives, get just one set of 5 beeps.

If I remove memory, no beeps and power cycles.

All assembled on anti-static mat, grounded to outlet and using wrist strap. (Not my first rodeo, but first one that didn't boot.)

I am trying to exhaust options before pulling CPU and checking that (re-doing thermal compound). I was real careful inserting it.
