Author: render_man_77
Subject: 106674
Posted: 16 Apr 2025 at 6:17pm

Hi all, I recently installed a new 14900k cpu on an Asrock z690 Extreme. Before I had a 12900k. I installed the latest bios and reset everything to default. I noticed that the power limit with the 14900k is mistakenly defaulted to 241w as with the 12900k, I think it's a bug. Another unpleasant thing is that setting "performance mode" in the power delivery profile the cpu crashes with Cinebench R15 15.0.3.7. I think this profile should be reviewed because I find it absurd that a basic setting proposed by Asrock is unstable. Especially since my cpu is indicated by Cpu Indicator above average, in the top 10%. It makes me think that 90% of the cpu will be unstable with this profile. Then I read that there are problems with Nvidia GPUs of the 5000 series and I would like to know if there is a list of compatible cards. thanks to all
