If you have only the 8 pin (like me), it should still work.<br /><br />I have the Z390 Extreme4 with a 750 Watt Corsair PSU using only the 8pin cpu header and it is working fine with my 9700k.<br /><br />I'd look and make sure your Memory is in the right slot(s).<br /><br />If you read the manual, it tells you to put them in specific slots if you're only using two sticks.<br /><br />If you have something like 4 sticks of memory, try using two or just one and go from there.]]>

I pulled it from my old system, it has indicator leds that show it's working, and the MB led's light up. I think it may have to do with power going to the CPU. I only had the 8-pin hooked up and it looks like maybe both the 8-pin and 4 pin need to be hooked up for an i5-9600K.]]>
