I know it is not the best one, probably it the worst component in this computer. It is 80+ silver PSU.

Do you think it can cause problems like that?

It is weird that someone else had similar problem on the same MBO. I have many computers in company, most of them have cheaper components and they run without any problem.

Supplier told me that bad PSU would not restart PC, it would shut down only.

I can test with another PSU (Corsair AX) when I receive computer from supplier (again).

I didn't touch hardware so far because I received extra warranty from supplier for diagnostics (obviously not worth xD). Actually the assembled this PC.
Author: tabana
Subject: 10682
Posted: 14 Jan 2019 at 5:43pm

Hello,

I have seen similar problems on this forum, but couldn't find any solution yet.

My problem is that computer restart itself without warning. Restart happen unrelated to active applications, it restarts on idle also. Usually it restarts 3-5 times per day, but sometimes it is working for days without issues.

Every component is new and under warranty:

MBO: ASRock Z370 Pro4
CPU: Intel Core i3-8100 (3.6GHz, 6MB, LGA1151)
PSU: Fortron RAIDER II 550
DVD: LG GH24NSC0, DVD±RW, SATA
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Basic 2.5" 500 GB, MZ-75E500B
RAM: Kingston 8 GB DDR4 2133MHz HyperX Fury Black, HX421C14FB2/8

I tried to reinstall windows (10 pro) with no success (it also restarts on clean install without any additional application installed).

This PC was several times at my supplier on testing, but they tell me that everything is all right (I don't know how they test it)

I tried few things that I found on google, but with no luck:

I have unchecked "Automatically restart" in "Startup and Recovery" window.
I have Unchecked "Turn on fast startup" under "Shutdown settings"
I have updated BIOS to newest version (3.3)
I have changed some stuff in BIOS (SATA and POWER options - tried every option)
I removed every removable device with DVD drive empty
I have tried some other stuff, but I don't remember at the moment

If we ignore the restarts, PC is running very smoothly and super fast.

What else can I do?
