Author: eccential
Subject: 107104
Posted: 24 Apr 2025 at 7:45pm

BIOS Version 1.90 is the original release! That's so old!
There were so many critical security fixes after that!
If I were you, I'd update to 7.00 and then to 10.41 (beta).
Yes, disclaimer about BIOS update being scary and all that.
I honestly don't know why people have trouble with them, though.
I have 10 AsRock AM4 boards and I've done MANY MANY BIOS updates over the previous 7 years and never ran into issues. I do have UPS on all my setup, not that I've ever had a power outage while doing BIOS updates.

As for performance, you only have one DIMM, so you're only getting HALF the max memory bandwidth that the processor can support. You really want two matching DIMMs to get the most out of these processors.

Other than that, R5-3600 and GTX1650 should be enough for low-medium at 1080p 60FPS or better, according to quick online search. But I don't know anything about that game, or most games, as I'm not a gamer.
