Author: teknogeek1300
Subject: 10717
Posted: 18 Jan 2019 at 12:56pm

Hey guys. Gut my i9 9900K yesterday, got it running good. Used the Phantom Gaming tool today to overclock, which it got to 5.18GHz stable no problem. So I lowered it back down to 51 multipplyer(should be close to 5GHz) and the voltage -0.020 and it crashed instantly. Not a big deal, chip needs that much. But NOW, it won't post, and clearing CMOS, removing battery, and all power, and components, still nothing but 00 code on the dr debug display. Also, my RGB settings are still sticking? Does clearing CMOD effect that? Because it's not changing mine back from blue.

Here's a video of what it's doing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djXUIxxBX9s

Also noticed, the power and reset button on the board are no longer illuminated.. Ever.
