Old docs had it at 32GB max, because they were written before 32GB DDR4 DIMMs were a thing. AsRock's own support page for Fatal1ty X470 Gaming-ITX/ac STILL SAYS it only supports 32GB max, but that is 100% wrong, because I ran 64GB (two 32GB DIMMs) just fine.
