Did you install the M.2 SSDs at Z390 Extreme4?
The [M2_1], [SATA3_0 and SATA3_1] share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled.
The [M2_2], [SATA3_4 and SATA3_5] share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled.

But it isn't, only 4 ports can be used.... The hd in the other ports are not regocnised by bios. It should be OK. The MB has 6 Intel ports and 2 ASMedia ports.

I bought the Z390 Extreme4 mobo so i could connect all 8 SATA HDs at once. But it doesn't seem to be that straight forward.
I am really struggling. All the HDs are a different size: varying from 1 to 4 tb and of different brand: Samsung, WD, Toshiba. They have all different size partitions, and mostly different files on it.

How can i install them all?
