I agree with Xhue, speculation puts the new Radeon VII at around 2080 performance but without Real Time Ray Tracing. A 1600x should still be more than up to the task, especially at resolutions higher than 1080p. A lot of people see reviews and see intel CPUs (for example) scoring higher FPS with the GPUs being tested and assume that anything less is a bottleneck on the part of the CPU. This is not true, all too often it is simply better optimization for intel's architecture in a given title's game engine. Ryzen, from a software optimization standpoint, is still very new. This year and next we will start seeing the gap close between comparable intel and AMD CPUs in gaming scenarios.

I don't think so, personally.

New Navi (or VII) is not an extremely powerful card. 1440p and below you should easily max out everything, while @ 4K your FPS will drop because of the GPU.

VR & 4K still need insane GPU if you want good FPS and all the bling. Wow yea not thinking about changing cpu anytime soon, I am very satisfied right now.. the question, If I may ask,
will the new radeon navi gpu bottleneck my Ryzen 5 1600x cpu? Hello, can anyone tell me how important are the new bios updates for my motherboard.. do i really need to sacrifice my old update (3.60v) for newest (5.20v) will that anyhow increase any performance for my pc or something?
