    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=12188">stickfigure</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10908<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 Feb 2019 at 2:10am<br /><br />AN UPDATE: Problem Resolved<br /><br />It turns out the problem was the monitor. <br />A QNIX QX2710LED, first generation.<br />It simply didn't like the output from the 2070.<br />I tested the card in 3 other machines and all was well.<br />When I changed out the monitor on my EP2C612-WS all was well.<br />Ordered a new monitor last night.<br /><br />Thanks for your time.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=12188">stickfigure</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10908<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 Feb 2019 at 2:38am<br /><br />Hi.<br /><br />First post on this forum.<br /><br />My System:<br /><br />EP2C612 WS<br />QX2710 LED monitor<br />2 x E5-2630 v4<br />128 GB RAM<br />1200W PSU<br />Win 10 PRO<br /><br />Currently I am using an EVGA GTX 1080 ti graphics card that has worked perfectly since I installed it in 2017.<br /><br />I have been trying to upgrade to an EVGA RTX 2070.<br /><br />Here's the problem:<br />When I install the 2070 the system boots, you can hear the Win 10 boot chime, but all you see is a full screen that starts white then goes to black then to red then green and then blue and repeats.<br /><br />The 2070 connects to the monitor via an included HDMI-DVID adapter cable.<br /><br />I have the 1080 installed in PCIE slot 7, set in BIOS to Gen 3, X16 and all works well. But I get the above result when I install the 2070 in the same slot.<br /><br />An Important Note: <br />I have a system set up using the EP2C602 MOBO that normally uses an EVGA 980 ti. When I replace the 980 with the 2070 it boots right up with no problems.<br /><br /><br />Any thoughts from anybody? <br /><br />]]>
