Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Regarding your question, please follow the below steps to update BIOS.
1.     Download the BIOS from the following link.
http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/BIOS/1151/Z370%20Taichi(3.40)ROM.zip
2.     Unzip the BIOS file and save it on a USB flash drive?™s root directory (FAT32 format). Empty USB flash drive will be better.
3.     Press [F6] during POST to get into BIOS Instant Flash page.
4.     ASRock Instant Flash will automatically detect all devices and only list those BIOS versions which are suitable for your motherboard.
5.     Select the BIOS version and flash.

Previously I was able to update BIOS via Instant Flash BIOS option, but now I am trying to upgrade from 3.30 to 3.40. No matter what I do I always get "no image file detected" message. When I click instructions on the site, I am also getting an error saying "500 - Internal server error.
