Author: bobbytomorow
Subject: 109679
Posted: 25 May 2025 at 2:24pm

I have the Asrock B760M Pro RS/D4 WiFi paired with a i7-12700k CPU

I have tried numerous different ways to undervolt but everything I touch that has anything to do with voltage seems to trigger CEP and halve my performance. Running Cinebench at BIOS defaults nets me a hair over 20k pts, which is more or less normal. Yet if I mess with anything having to do with voltage I will get <10k pts no matter what I try.

I have tried the following then tested using cinebench R23 while monitoring HW info:

-adjust load line = good temps and clocks are good yet performance is cut in half (cinebench 10k pts)

-adjust voltage offsets = good temps and clocks are good yet performance is cut in half (cinebench 10k pts)

I have tried a few other methods in BIOS as well with the same results.

I am currently running BIOS 10.03 which has an option to disable CEP yet it doesn't seem to make a difference at all.

Any ideas or is there simply no way at to adjust the voltage whatsoever?
