the 860 will not work on the second slot as the 860 runs on sata interface

the lower m.2 slot only supports pcie interface

I have Taichi X470 motherboard and first M2 ultra slot is used by Samsung 960 evo. I need more storage so I'm thinking of buying new SSD.
2nd available M2 slot on motherboard is just M2, not ultra. What SSDs should I be looking for? Would Samsung 860 evo be using it's full potential on this slot?
