That includes NVMe support.<br><br>If we check the date of the UEFI updates that adds NVMe support to the non-3.1 X99 version boards, we can see it is <b>before</b> the date of the initial UEFI version of the X99 3.1 version boards.<br><br>Using any PCIe SSD as the boot drive requires configuring a setting in the UEFI, as well as installing Windows ina certain way. Also, since NVMe SSDs are not SATA drives, they won't be listed along with the SATA drives in the Storage Configuration screen, but appear in the boot order and in the System Browser tool.<br>]]>
