yes the system will crash in the loading screen if you are using the wrong mode to load windows

Don't know how many people will read this, but, this makes sure the information is out there for google to have a chance of finding it.

To fix this issue, I needed to set everything in Boot/CSM (compatibility Support Module) to UEFI only. I can give it a go. Reason it didn't re-flash BIOS was that I was trying to flash the same version. I'll try again, also going to try putting the r5 1600 back in and see what happens (if clearing CMOS doesn't work). I just can't stop it booting straight into BIOS, the codes look normal as well.

Hi,

I have a x370 TaiChi, running BIOS 5.10. Currently I'm having an issue whereby the computer is booting to BIOS. It can be forced it to boot windows from Boot Overide in the exit menu in BIOS. That's the only way I can get into windows.

Major changes, it had been running fine with a r5 1600, however, today I replaced that with a r7 2700. This issue has happened ever since.

Steps I've tried,

*Reset CMOS (PSU unplugged)
*Tried reflashing bios, but board wouldn't let me.
*Changed fan header for the CPU (now on CPU 1).
*Tried changing fans.
*Tried changing the boot sequence.

I just can't see anything amiss, it's all plugged in properly, the only hardware change has been the r7 2700, didn't clear CMOS first, so spent a bit of time boot looping (possibly due to previous OC settings).
