Originally had my 1080ti sc2 on this board and had an RGB header that worked just fine.   

What's odd though, is that if I put a new GPU in, the RGB header no longer works even though the rest of the RGB on motherboard is just fine.   Soon as I take GPU out, the header comes right back on.   And When I put the original 1080ti sc2 back in, no issues.

I'm using an asrock z370 motherboard.

I tried out the gigabyte 2080 oc.   The RGB in the 2080 wouldn't turn on as well along with the RGB heater.   Same issue with the gtx 970, though 970 has no RGB.

I've done a clean wipe and reinstall of drivers (DDU), and attempted to turn off/on RGB options with motherboard app.
