Does it matter as long as Im still in UEFI? IE: can i Install the updates anyway, just not boot all the way.?
Then...after update to 7.30 just turn off pc and Install new CPU and then Boot up?

Thanks, there is no point of return on this which is why Im seeking clarification! ;) Thank you

Or Do I change out the processor and then update?

If so How do I get past 5.50 as it doesnt seem to recognize self boot. I know I have to leap over my current legacy Ryzen...as there is a warning Not to install others fro the Rzen 7 1700

thnx
