If it is the VRM heatsink (next tot he CPU socket) then make sure
pushing it didn't cause it to break contact with the VRMs or your VRMs will overheat.

If it is the shroud over the rear IO then it should be fine, that is just a decorative
shroud as far as I am aware. The shroud can actually be removed if it's in the
way.
The screws are on the underside of the board and unless there are heatpads on
it and it's made of aluminium, it should be safe to leave off entirely.

I am sorry I am not entirely sure, I don't own your board and am going based off
the pictures on the product page as well as my experience with other boards.

That must be a monster of a GPU cooling solution to protrude that far above the
PCIe slot.

I need it lowered by 2mm or so because it prevents the gpu of snapping in place.

The M.2 heatsinks can be removed by removing the 2 screws
that hold them onto the board, one on each end. They have "M.2 Blazing" and "M.2
Armor" printed on them. You should not remove any of the other heatsinks as they
are critical to the function of the board. Those M.2 heatsinks can be safely removed
however and won't effect anything negatively. If you use an M.2 drive that requires
cooling then place it in the slot where the heatsink can still fit.

If the solution is to remove the heatsink can you please explain how to do that.

Thanks.
