This is likely a BIOS fan control issue after S3 resume. On wakeup, the system briefly runs the fan at full speed until sensors reinitialize. Try updating to a newer BIOS and setting a manual/custom fan curve if available. If it persists, it?�s probably a BIOS bug and worth reporting to ASRock.

I updated the BIOS to 4.14 and loaded BIOS defaults.

The fan noise issue after wakeup from suspend-to-RAM (S3) persists.
