Even if I programmed 1.90, the same error (after verification what data is on BIOS chip) appeared once PC powered on. 1.90 is corrupted
I had to get back to 1.80.

I found this YT video to be helpful for how to program the chip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSLKlLcOAKM
There is Winbond 25Q64FVSIG chip for BIOS. I have tried to program Winbond 25Q80DVSIG first which is the same size, but that one is for something else. Having less memory than BIOS file size revealed this is not the right one. Also this one uses 3.3V while to correct one needs 1.8V only so adapter for programmer is needed!

Don't forget to press
and hold the power button once power is disconnected to discharge the capacitors
fully.

If that fails your only option is to open a support ticket with ASRock and hope
that they can help you still with a board that is likely out of warranty.

https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp

    Author: Bumerank
Subject: 113479
Posted: 26 Mar 2026 at 2:10am

Hello, I have just did update of BIOS of my J3455-ITX from 1.80 to the latest 1.90 version downloaded from official https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/J3455-ITX/index.asp#BIOS . I did update BIOS on this MB before and now I used the same process with using USB flash disk. I have activated Instant Flash process, the Progress bar processed to 100% and then I got message "Programming success, press ENTER to reboot system" and so I did.
After that monitor does not come up, only my fan started at higher RPM than usually and PowerON LED is ON (whch I had previously disabled in my BIOS config). I left this for about 10 minutes, no change.

So I did sequentially these steps, all with no effect:
- restart
- wait another 1 hour
- connect monitor using DVI, than also D-Sub
- turn off, disconnect from power, reset CMOS, connect power, turn ON
- turn off, disconnect from power, disconnect all disks, connect power, turn ON
- turn off, disconnect from power, disconnect one of two RAM modules, connect power, turn ON

I have run out of ideas.
