Try load factory<br />defaults, save and exit. Then repeat steps 1 and 2 and see if that clears the issue.<br />Make sure that Enable VMD controller, Enable VMD Global Mapping and Map this Root Port<br />are all set to enabled before saving and exiting.<br /><br />If that fails, remove both drives from the system and attempt step 2 again and<br />see if it will allow you to save and exit and re-enter the UEFI again. If it works<br />then shut down and reinstall the drives ensuring you have them in the correct <br />M.2 slots, M2_1 and M2_3. See if that allows you to proceed to step 3 successfully.<br /><br />Good luck. ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=16140">MarkJohnson</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 113490<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Apr 2026 at 4:12am<br /><br />I am trying to install my 2 nvme m.2 SSD in RAID1 mode for my dad as he lost his 8-yo drive, so he wants RAID1 redundancy.<br /><br />the asrock raid instructions have me stuck at step 3.<br /><br />It says to save and exit raid setup, but on reboot it fails with network error and crashes (turns off).<br /><br />He has, B760 pro rs wifi White (5.01), 32GB DDR5 6,000 (Crucial), i3-12100 CPU/iGPU, and Corsair 750 watt PSU (750e), and a pair WD Black 1TB SSDs for RAID1.<br /><br />Let me know if you need more information.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;-=Mark=-]]>
