Make sure to restore factory defaults and reboot before updating.<br />That tends to help prevent bad flashes. On older boards I like to replace the CMOS<br />battery before updating too. <br /><br />Replace CMOS battery<br />Restore system/factory defaults<br />boot into OS then restart<br />enter BIOS<br />Flash<br /><br />These are my usual steps.]]>
