I read that it only shows the controller version when something is connected to the thunderbolt port. <br />Also read from amazon review that someone has it working with x99 extreme 4 motherboard... so it should work with mine too right? Since its pretty much the same board with the same TBT1 header. Also do where to get the hardware drivers for this card?]]>

I enabled the thundebolt feature in bios. Also I have the latest bios (April 2019 version) installed.<br /><br />Now, how do I check if my thunderbolt port is actually working? I am planning on buying a thunderbolt 3 audio interface and want to make sure I can actually use it when it gets here with my PC. <br />I installed the thunderbolt software and at the moment (nothing connected) it shows this in the "details" screen:<br /><br /><img src="http://tinypic/r/10ftijo/9" border="0" /><br /><br />Is there a way to see if the thunderbolt pcie card is active somewhere else?<br /><br />My configuration:<br />i7 6950x<br />asrock x99x fatality motherboard with latest bios<br />radeon rx480 8gb<br />64 gb ram<br />Windows 10 Pro with latest update]]>
