The M2_2 does not support SATA3 interface so it won't work with the Samsung PM871A (SATA3). I jsut upgraded the BIOS to 2.0. SSDs are Samsung MZ-NLN256B (PM871a) and SanDisk x400. OK, seriously... You are talking about issues with SSD and we have to guess their models? :D

I just picked up the X470 Taichi Ultimate board. I have 2 M.2 2280 drives. BIOS recognizes the M.2 connected to M2_1 but not the M.2 connected to M2_2. I do not have anything plugged into SATA3_3 and my graphics card is connected to PCIE1.

I have connected the M.2 to an external enclosure and verified that the drive is working and I formatted it as well. BIOS does not recognize the drive in M2_2. I also upgraded the BIOS to version 2.0, no change in results.
