    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=12362">Déka</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11500<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 May 2019 at 4:42pm<br /><br /><br />Before that I power the computer, can someone confirm me if this is the correct way to power the CPU of the X470 Taichi motherboard?<br /><br />The PSU is a Seasonic Gold X-series SS-650KM Active PFC F3.<br /><br />The CPU cable has 8 pins on the PSU side and 2 x 4-pin sockets on the mainboard side.<br /><br />The mainboard has a 8-pin socket for ATX12V1 and a 4-pin socket for ATX12V2.<br /><br />Can also someone explain the role of each of the ATX12V1 and ATX12V2 sockets?<br />Thank you very much.<br /><br /><img src="https://imgur/a/ajdWtsz" border="0" /><br /><br />N.B. I also have on hand several CPU/PCI-E cables, which go to the 12-pin sockets on the PSU side and split into 6 + 2 pins on the mainboard side.]]>
