I remember a case of someone having a lot of disks like you, and the system would crash, not because the PSU wasn?™t powerful enough, but because it was just not of good enough quality

I am having issues with the machine booting if I have drives plugged into my SATA Controller Cards. It starts the boot process and acknowledges the drives plugged into the card and then it takes me to the ASRock splash screen and freezes.

Does this have something to do with the fact that there are 2 SATA ports built into my mobo with the same ASM1061 chipset? Is there a way for me to use both the onboard SATA plus the controller card (or even two cards)? I currently have the other 4 built in SATA ports in use.
