I bet there will be at least 1 more BIOS version before that happens, and one more, shortly after.<br /><br />Now is a good time to strat reading how to use all the tools required for a proper OC, and start practicing. You should be able to reach 3400-3600 even now, if all is done as it should.]]>

I also read the 3.43 BIOS has issues with Windows not booting and 3.40 is more stable , and both support the 3000 series.]]>

It's the voltage (and amps, respectively) that kills them. Keep the voltage in check and all should be fine.<br /><br />More so, Flare X are backed by a lifetime warranty. You don't basically lose anything!]]>

I even tightened some of the sub-timings, thanks to the AMD mem calc by 1usmus.]]>
