Author: pistiC
Subject: 11649
Posted: 14 Jun 2019 at 1:00am

Hi all,

I'm facing the certain issue my PC is not displaying anything, moreover the monitor stays on idle on startup. I had to reassemble the computer because I ordered supported NVME ssd drive and 2 sticks of ram, also the wiring was messy too thus it had to be redone. (By supported I mean I checked the QVL list and their serial number was included in it and both were verified working properly.)
The weird thing is it's been working before I ordered the parts, it was acting up at times though.
The CPU cooler is an ID-cooling se213 v2, and its mounting that attaches the cooler itself to the mobo is very stiff. Already had 2 times when dismounting the cooler the processor was stuck onto the cooler, it was horrifying. Thermal paste was applied all the time it was put on back, however once because of the pressure it literally puts on the processor some pins of my 1800X was bent. I carefully bent them and seated into the socket at least 5 times to see whether it would fit. It did, and the pins didn't seem to have further problems. Seemingly all were back to original state.
Having an onboard speaker attached to the mobo I can ensure you all it gives 5 short beeps. I looked up and found out it would be a processor related problem.
What can I do to make it work again?
I've gone through the list of tomshardware forum which lists the possibilities of a system that wouldn't boot up, but had no success so far.
Can I get my motherboard and CPU replaced?
Both have 3 years of warranty but if not necessary I'd stick with them.

PC specs:

ASrock X370 Pro4
Ryzen 1800X
ID-cooling se213 v2
Asus GTX 1070
G.Skill Trident Z 2x8GB
Samsung 960 Evo 250GB
2 hard drives - 2,5TB together

Thanks in advance!
