Author: micheleonm
Subject: 11799
Posted: 06 Jul 2019 at 10:07am

Hi!

MOBO b450m Pro4

I have two xfx RX580 but I was using only one of them, nevertheless, I tested both in crossfire a while ago and they worked perfectly, this with a BIOS prior ver. 2.00

A month ago I updated the BIOS to 3.30, everything perfect. Two days ago I decided to put the other graphics card but there is only a black screen (monitor connected through HDMI to primary card). Just for the sake of testing, I plugged the monitor to the secondary card and as expected there s no video.

I reset the BIOS with no results in the output. I tested both graphics cards one by one and they both work.

This is the most curious part, today I updated the bios to 3.40, tested again with no luck but again I re-tested connecting the HDMI to the secondary graphics card and there is video output.

My PSU is enough btw, as I said, I used both cards in crossfire in the past with the exact same configuration.

Anybody having these problems with newer bios firmware?
