Maybe a USB stick problem / VFAT32?<br />Tried another USB port? <br />But if you do not have a Matisse CPU, there is no reason to update higher as 1.90!<br /><br />B&#093;PBO:/B&#093;<br />It would be helpfull to know which CPU you are using.<br />You must have a 2000X CPU for PBO.<br />Meaning, for 2600 or 2700 without "X" PBO is not available.<br /><br />No PBO on X470 board:<br />http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=11885&KW=PBO&PID=65303&title=x470-taichi-bios-343-where-is-pbo#65303<br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=13498">brian770</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12096<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 Aug 2019 at 7:02pm<br /><br />i have a x470 gaming k4, i am running bios 1.90 right now and noticed that there are several newer ones to be had. i have never been able to find the setting to enable PBO and wanted to update my bios, every time i have tried to do so i get the error that secure flash check fail. i have cleared the bios and used all default settings, tried to remove all my drives, all things that i have found by googling the problem. i downloaded all the different bios from the official sight and none of them will flash for me. tried F6, tried instant flash and still nothing works. is there a problem with these bioses? my machine is running ok as of now, but thats not really the point. I hear all this great stuff about the PBO and i cant even  use it. and i would really like a somewhat more up to date bios. i love this motherboard, but i am starting to second guess my purchase at this point as i have been building comps since the old athlon XP days, and have never had this hard of a time with a bios.]]>
