Author: povilas
Subject: 12103
Posted: 05 Aug 2019 at 6:32pm

Hello,

Ever since purchase of my custom computer I have been experiencing sleep bug which resulted in video card's fans spinning at maximum speed for a few seconds. Whenever computer is left at idle, it would go to sleep mode, then after few seconds wake itself up, gpu fans at full speed and then it goes sleep again, it behaves like this for 3-4 times before actually going into sleep mode.

Having latest bios update did not resolve it, updating video drivers, reinstalling windows did not help aswell. Even went as far as to buy certified VESA cable. As this did not resolve the issue I shutdown my pc, switched off psu, disconnected all cables, attempted to turn on the pc for the voltage removal and finally removed the battery and waited for 2 hours. After putting it back together, clicking the power button all fans spin, but it does not output video and after 8 seconds restarts itself, again all fans spinning, the white power button LED on nzxt s340 flashes one or two times.

I have attempted booting with one out of two ram sticks trying every slot, even with no ram inserted it does not output video and keeps rebooting. Disconnrecting solid state drive also did not help. Tryed to remove cmos battery again, didn't work too.

What are my other options before returning it for warranty inspection?

Ryzen 1600, B450 PRO4, TX550M, Patriot viper elite 2x4 2800, NZXT s340, RX 580 Pulse.
