Ah, you already read that here, with ESATA option per device.
In another forum, a user gots a bios variant 1.61 with the global hot plug switch for the X570 Taichi via Asrock support.
So maybe a new bios required.
BTW, X570 Steel Legend still has not the AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3 ABB update.

I'm not sure, but i remember reading somewhere that the "Hot Plug"/"Swap" option can be found in the options of each listed device, even for M2 drives...

I have a X570 Steel Legend with BIOS 1.60 and can't find any way to enable hot swap for SATA drives (using AHCI mode in the BIOS).
