Don't know your reason using Thunderbolt as network interface. It's just option. No, I have full bandwith also over time. You are not answering my issue at all. There is no fw update for this tb3 chip and probably there wont be any, because this is a chip from 2016 with only 2x PCIe lanes and newer one have 4.

Opened ticket @ Asrock. Lets see how Long it takes. Have you tried to find any firmware on net for Thunderbolt 3 controller, Intel's JHL6240 "Alpine Ridge".
No, I don't know what Firmware is. not it is stored on the TB3 chip. Your post has Nothing to do with TB3 issues. I think Asrock will never provide TB3 Firmware updates, because they Need to pay for the Firmware update from Intel I guess. So the feature of TB3, this is why I have bought two of These boards for 400$ is gone.
