    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forum.asrock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14151">mimino</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12612<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Oct 2019 at 10:42pm<br /><br />I've been trying to create a boot option in UEFI using Shell v2 and I'm unable to add boot options.<br /><br />This command works w/o issues and the new choice is added to the boot menu:<br />Shell&gt; bcfg boot add 0 fs0:\vmlinuz-linux "Arch Linux"<br /><br />This command does nothing and produces no output:<br />Shell&gt; bcfg boot -opt 0 "root=/dev/sda initrd=\initramfs-linux.img"<br /><br />Dump says entry 0 Optional: N<br />Shell&gt; bcfg boot dump -v<br /><br />I tried adding options from file and it didn't work either.<br />Shell&gt; bcfg boot -opt 0 FS0:\options.txt<br /><br />From my experiments It appears that options are ignored altogether.<br />The output of Shell&gt; setvar Boot0000 doesn't change with options added.<br /><br />Anyone has any clue what's going on here?]]>
